Research Interests
I am interested in multisensory processing and perception. The brain filters and combines inputs from the different sensory modalities to create stable and coherent neural representations. I study these processes in humans using combinations of psychophysics, non-invasive brain stimulation, and functional neuroimaging.
Current Projects
I am currently using transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to investigate crossmodal recruitment of visual and auditory cortex for tactile perception. I am also using concurrent TMS-fMRI (which enables one to deliver brain stimulation in the MRI scanner) to explore brain connectivity.
